But it must be done by an oral surgeon. It must be done as soon as possible. One must also check the blood loss and keep an eye if there is a head injury or not. If there is a head injury one must emphasize on its treatment first. After the reduction, fixation is done with the help of physical force of hand. After this the wires are placed which results in the immobilization. The person is not able to eat or drink anything and a food pipe is given. Overall, it takes 4 to 6 weeks.

How Jaw fracture can be prevented?

It includes the avoidance of injury or fights. One must drive slowly and safely so that the accidents can be averted. But sometimes we cannot prevent them.
