Cellulite is simply a term that describes the appearance of bumpy looking fat on the body.  In other words, the dimpled appearance of cellulite is one way many perfectly normal human beings look. It is actually a fancy name for collections of fat that push against the connective tissue beneath a person’s skin, which causes the surface of the skin to dimple or pucker and look lumpy. Descriptive names for cellulite include orange peel syndrome, cottage cheese skin, the mattress phenomenon, and hail damage. When all is working well in the system, waste products are removed and smooth curves result; when fats, fluids and toxins are trapped deep in the skin (below the epidural layer), however, the connective tissue thickens and hardens, giving a dimpling effect. This appearance is much more common in women than in men because of differences in the way fat, muscle, and connective tissue are distributed in men and women’s skin.

Home Remedies for Cellulite

Below are presented a few Cellulite cure home remedies:

  • Use a soft body brush on damp or dry skin, brushing in long sweeping movements over the afflicted area, and working in the direction of the heart.
  • Press a soft-bristled brush gently onto your skin and rotate it in circular movements from head to toe or on cellulite areas alone.
  • Eat plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables-low in calories yet packed with nutrients-and drink fruit and vegetable juices.
  • Drink beverages at room temperature rather than ice-cold. Ice constricts your esophagus and stomach, hindering the flow of digestive enzymes into your stomach.
  • Always massage a cellulite cream thoroughly with your fingertips. It makes them double effective.
  • Take caffinatted coffee, grind it into dust & mix with cheap hand lotion, rub this into your problem spots for 60 second a day, then shower it off & watch those cellulite areas become smoother & firmer.
