It is defined as a disorder in which there is an accumulation of the cancer cells in the floor of mouth. It occurs in the older people and is not common among the men. It mainly involves the floor of mouth. The causative organism can be syphilis or other agent such as the sun light, smoking or the use of tobacco. It can also occur due to the poor oral hygiene. Leukoplakia is one such other factor.
